SONIC COLORS CONTINUES: YOUR MIND IS MINE!
Who: Eggman and "Volunteers"
What: Eggman has a little experiment to run, and the park goers are the perfect volunteers.
Where: Dr. Eggman's Incredible Interstellar Amusement Park
When: Tuesday
Warnings: None yet, but we'll see
There was a catch. There was always a catch when Dr. Eggman was involved. Of COURSE the park was a ruse. A very elaborate ruse, but a ruse nonetheless. He was keeping those pesky aliens under wraps for the time being, but more and more of them were trying to escape. He put Lash on the job, and with any luck that would be enough. But for now, he had other ideas.
Eggman dispatched multiple robots out into the park to round up a few test subjects. Time to see if all of this effort would pay off.
[[Those who signed up to be brainwashed, this is where it happens!
For everyone else, people will start disappearing after this log, so feel free to react accordingly if you like.]]

ROUND UP THE TEST SUBJECTS

Re: ROUND UP THE TEST SUBJECTS
The adventures of Byrne and the NPC robots
However, he was able to dispatch of the robot while only receiving a few scrapes and bruises himself. But then more of them came. Two more, to be exact. They were larger, this time, and more durable. With some magic on his end, he was able to blast them to pieces. Okay, this wasn't so bad. So this Eggman person obviously advertised his Space theme park to attack people with a robot army. Nothing Byrne couldn't handle.
And then more of them came. A whole group of them. He was able to blast some of them and kick some of them away, but more and more kept advancing on him, and he couldn't keep up. What the hell was this? He couldn't lose, not now. No, not just losing, but he honestly began fearing for his life. They just kept coming, more and more of them, no matter how hard he fought back. He was sustaining more injuries as they tried to grab him, although nothing too violent on the robots' end had happened yet, surprisingly.
However, even if they weren't severely beating Byrne up, they were still able to block some of his attacks and close in on him. There were just too many...
And so, after a lengthy attempt to fight off the hordes of machines, Byrne ultimately lost, due to being severely outnumbered. Several of them dragged him away while he struggled the whole time. He still feared for his life, but due to the fact that they were just dragging him somewhere and not mortally hurting him gave him some hope. Perhaps he could find a way to escape once they dropped him wherever they were going to.

Re: ROUND UP THE TEST SUBJECTS
Karma, dear Shinon. Karma at work. He didn't seem very happy with being held captive by a few robots.
OKAY FOR REAL
That is when suddenly, a robot came. Then another. And another. Suddenly there were many robots around him. He had seen many robots like this around the park already and had grown accustomed to it. Eventually.
"Uh...was there a robot party I didn't hear about?"
It was a party alright. A rounding up party. A few robots behind Vincent started to shove him. Vincent, confused and already infuriated at the now aggression towards him, didn't have much reaction time before the other robots made a grab for him. Vincent tried to fight the restraints but was eventually carried off. Millions of curse words were shouted out.
Re: ROUND UP THE TEST SUBJECTS
But it stood to reason. He had willingly wandered into the den of a warlord.
I SUPPOSE YOU WONDER WHY I'VE CALLED YOU ALL HERE...
Re: I SUPPOSE YOU WONDER WHY I'VE CALLED YOU ALL HERE...
Vincent was so pissed. So pissed. You brought him a space carnival and you kidnap him for science.
"Fuck you, shithead! I didn't volunteer for this!"
Re: I SUPPOSE YOU WONDER WHY I'VE CALLED YOU ALL HERE...
N wasn't about to just bend without some kind of explanation.

He is wearing red, after all."I'd assume it has something to do with that device you're holding. Want to share with the class?"

All this time he had tried to be polite to Eggman, despite how obvious it was that the older man despised the former lawyer. But now he pretty much lost it. Being manhandled by large robots and restrained would do that to you.

"Now then, let me explain. Some time ago, I made the most REMARKABLE discovery!" He snapped his fingers. A robot carried a capsule, containing a small white creature. It had one eye, three tentacles, and looked terrified. "This," he said, taking the capsule, "is a Wisp. Sure, it may look puny and not at all interesting, but just one of these little aliens contains INCREDIBLE power! And since they weren't using it for anything important, I thought 'They certainly won't miss it!'"
"Which brings me to my LATEST INVENTION." He returned his attention to the laser. "Anyone want to guess what it does?"

He listened, oh yes he did, wanting to know just what the hell was going to happen to him. But at the same time he tried to discreetly fiddle with the restraints, attempting to find a way to free himself. If he did free himself, though, would he free everyone else? Probably not.

"Don't play guessing games with us and just get on with it," Shinon urged impatiently. "So what is it, you hulking lardball? You're putting me to sleep with all this talk."

"There's a 97.2% chance that what you are holding is a mind control beam," he replied.
"1.5% ice cream cone beam, remaining 1.3% miscellany."
Apple Kid was really hoping that it was the ice cream beam.

This was when Vincent started struggling from his restraits madly.
"There is no way in hell I'm becoming a zombie, you bloated Eggfatass!!"
Oh, he mad.

"Oh, and it's not like you have a CHOICE in the matter," he informed Vincent sadistically.

But Phoenix had never woken up from the nightmare. In the past few months, he had encountered talking animals, talking animals who could turn into humans, a giant, functioning Space amusement park, and a gang of robots. It had been months and he was still in the nightmare. Nobody pinched him. Why did he have to lose his badge and come to this place? Now he faced what could be the end of his conscious life. The end of his sanity, if Eggman was going to control his mind.
Who knew what atrocities Eggman would make him commit? Maya being possessed by a dead person wasn't enough of a defense in court, so obviously mind control wouldn't be either, should Phoenix be forced to do anything illegal. As everything came together in his mind, Phoenix's face conveyed a look of sheer horror at the realization of the hellhole he had gotten himself into.

That was what he wanted, wasn't it? Surely those in his planned universe would possess limited willpower, so that they could progress without his direct influence, and they would possess intellect, so that they could process what they learned and progress in technology. But they would be his and his entirely, and he alone would shape them.
But at the same time, it was entirely different. He was a man of morals and ethics, while Eggman had none! This was a sick irony, a perversion of truth.
And all he could manage from his lips was "...Bastard!"

But there was Apple Kid, who had become a drone... what was going on? Shinon thought about Ashera's pawns clad in gold armor with a purpose none other than to serve her selfish bidding. He imagined this was likely going to be his fate if he didn't get himself out of here, and quick.
The archer cast his glance to his fellow victims, wondering if any of them had any means of escape. Nobody appeared outstanding to him, but Byrne... Shinon's eyes narrowed as he wondered whether he could break himself from the restraint of the numerous robots. Nabooru had said he was powerful. But it really wasn't his concern whether he could do it or not, because naturally, Shinon didn't trust anyone here to do much more but free themselves. And he was the same way. But things didn't seem to be getting any better for him, and he couldn't see any openings to escape from his current position. He would have to face the music.
So he pretended to look utterly bored with the sight in front of him, sighing and allowing his head to rock forward. "Not this again..."

"Now, who next..."

How about the guy who said that and was trying really hard to get away from the robots so he could slug them and then slug Eggman and get the hell out?

There was no emotion in him, just as he always wanted.
But he was also without willpower, without intelligence. There was the ability to reason, to process information, but it was entirely artificial.
"...Awaiting your commands," he said, his voice as dull as ever.
no subject
"And have I got orders for you all..."
