The slip of that hand against his collarbone is nice. He likes how warm it is and the shyness of the touch is more than obvious. He doesn't press it, though. Just let's Silver do as he wants. Guiding the younger hedgehog, sure, but not forcing. Letting him take the steps as he wants to.

To his quiet surprise, it seems as though Silver isn't nearly as hesitant as he was expecting. Because that hand shifts again. A little carefully, obviously from nerves, but it doesn't stop it from curling up and then in behind his neck a little. Feels those gentle, soothing fingers along the edge of his quills and it's like this electric jolt of something. It shoots right through him, from the touch right down to his toes, out to the very tips of his quills he swears and his breath catches hard at it for a moment. His heart gives another one of those strange little skittering lurches in his chest and before he's realized it, he's holding a little more firmly.

He can feel, almost instantly, that he's pulled Silver off balance. The younger hedgehog pitches in against him a little bit and, completely without thinking, he lets that hand go to instead wrap his arms around and hold. Steadies him a little, holding him closer now and his purr suddenly skyrockets at having that form in his arms all of a sudden. Can't even really begin to describe the rush of ... something... at it.

Curls his arms around a little more, letting one bandaged hand pet, slowly, lingeringly up along the younger hedgehog's back until it can settle against those shoulderblades. Doesn't even break the kiss. Just holds Silver much closer now, arms wrapped around him, purring away happily, not even realizing that flush of pink sits lightly across his own cheeks now, as well.
