Etiquette & Social Graces - Polite Luncheon

What: A Delightful Luncheon
Where: Etiquette Classroom

Warnings: HIGH SOCIETY LEVEL 5 - HOBNOBBERY & AFFECTED LAUGHTER WARNING.
Tuesday – a perfect day for a class. Well, perfect enough anyway. At least it wasn’t Monday (Oh Garfield). The perfect day to have a class wherein a luncheon is held – a luncheon planned out by Princess Peach. And also that Jeff Angel kid. But mostly Princess Peach, she was the important one.
Bowser hadasked bullied asked Louie to make the meal. And then he was threatened told to make not just one meal, but two. There was going to be so much food, this was going to be the best class.
Bowser was in his human form for once – mostly because wrangling silverware when he has claws is really beyond him, and there’s no point in making fun of how students use their silverware if he can’t even use it right.
The etiquette classroom had been transformed – there was a long table going down the middle of it all with fresh linens on it, there were bouquets of flowers, and table settings with bowls, plates, and multiple pieces of silverware for each diner. Little menus had been engraved and placed at each seat as well. Carafes filled with pink lemonade, and water lined the tables, while little pots of ginger tea dotted the tables as well. Baskets with warm rolls and little plates of cold butter are also conveniently placed down the table as well.
Imagine those guys along the wall all have turtle shells okay?
There were little name cards at each seat, telling the students where they were to sit, and there was also a fishbowl full of little cards sitting up next to the door. Conversation cards – cards that would tell each student what their “polite luncheon conversation topic” was.
The menu cards read:
First Course
Fruit Salad with Apricots, Strawberries and Raspberries and Chilled Tomato and Avocado Soup with warm Sourdough Bread
-or-
Chilled Peach Soup and Miniature Quiche.
Second Course
Poached Quail or Black Bean Salad
and Roasted Asparagus and New Potatoes
-or-
Beef & Vegetable Kabobs
and Caesar Salad
Dessert
Strawberry Shortcake

Assorted Minature Pastries
Beverages
Pink Lemonade, Ginger Tea, Water
Bowser looked around the classroom and snorted - small wisps of smoke left his nostrils. "It looks like this party's about to... heat up," he said, taking off his shades.TWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG
